Try My 5-Minute “Breakfast For Dinner” To Kill Hunger When You’re Time Crunched…

By Rob Poulos...

How often does this happen to you?

You’ve just finished a LOOOOONG day, you’re famished, but so tired that the thought of preparing and cooking a dinner just makes your stomach growl even more!

Well, instead of spending 30 minutes preparing a traditional dinner, sink your taste buds into my 5-minute “breakfast for dinner” fat-blasting meal instead, and kill that hunger fast!

Remember, we only have a few minutes, so we’ll have to go with a quickly prepared protein source

…so here we’re going with eggs… preferably organic from free-range/cage-free chickens.

I usually make this for our family of four, so I grab 8 whole eggs and throw ’em in a skillet with a teaspoon of grape seed or macadamia nut oil.

Next, I grab some nitrate/nitrite free sliced turkey or chicken breast, usually about 6-8 thin slices, chop it up, and throw it in with the eggs.

Third, I’ll throw in a couple cups of diced broccoli.

Last, I’ll sprinkle in some pre-shredded cheese, usually just a 1/2 cup or so (a little bit goes a long way).

With the eggs cooking up nice, I’ll pull out some sprouted grain tortillas, preferably Ezekiel brand which are probably the highest fiber/lowest carb ratio tortillas around.  They also pack some protein power too!

By the time I have these in hand, the eggs are done… and within a few more seconds, Voila… we have a super-delish protein packed, hunger killing breakfast for dinner!   And all in about 5 minutes or less.

Each serving will typically contain about:

360 calories
35g protein
20g carbs
15g fat
8g fiber

Ok, you may be thinking, “hey this is just a breakfast burrito, Rob!”… and you’d be right, sort of…

…most breakfast burritos you’ll find at restaurants/fast food joints use a lot of wrong ingredients, overdo it on the cheese, use white flour tortillas with a lot more calories and carbs and a lot less fiber.  Not to mention cooking with the wrong fat storing oils and using eggs from questionable sources!

So the next time you’re in a time-crunch, you know what to do to keep that fat burning furnace pumping, and crush that hunger with a quick, easy and delicious meal… it’s breakfast for dinner!

Enjoy and we’ll talk soon…
Rob

Eggs cook pretty quickly, so it may be best to cut up the other ingredients before you start cooking the eggs, at least the first time. If you’re disorganized, the eggs might be done before you even find all the ingredients. When you’re a pro, you could cut up come ingredients, put the pan on and warm it a while while cutting up more, put in the eggs, finish cutting up and put in.
