2 16 oz cans ready cut tomatoes
1 large chopped onion
1 32 oz can beef broth
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 bunch celery, sliced
3-4 large carrots, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 large head of cabbage, sliced
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 large chicken breasts
½ cup brown rice (minute rice)
In a small sauce pan, bring a few tablespoons of the chicken stalk to a boil. Add in the chicken breasts, cut in thin strips, and stir-fry until almost cooked through. Then transfer these into a large pot with all the other ingredients and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, cover and simmer for about 45 minutes, adding in the brown rice for the last 20 minutes.
