1 Trick To Burn More Fat With Smoothies…

By Rob Poulos...

As I’m sitting here finishing up a delicious smoothie for my
mid-afternoon snack, I was thinking about the fact that
smoothies are yet another part of a healthy and lean
lifestyle that can go very wrong…

…here’s what I mean, and why you’re going to want to read
on so you avoid these SMOOTHIE SABOTEURS!

See, while smoothies have a reputation as being healthy, the
reality is that most of them are anything but:

That smoothie shop at your local mall or shopping center?

Yeah these things are tasty, but are usually so high in
simple sugars and calories you’ll quickly end up with a
crazy fat storing blood sugar spike.

The best choice here is to get the smallest size and add a
scoop of protein powder (if available).  This will help
regulate the blood sugar spike and also keep calories in
check, while providing far more appetite satisfaction…got
it?

Alright, here’s another SMOOTHIE SECRET that most people
don’t know aboout:

CHEW YOUR SMOOTHIES

What? Yeah, that’s right…chew, don’t gulp your smoothies.

Why?

Gulping is one of the biggest mistakes you’re making, as
this slows the start of the digestive process in your mouth
(your saliva can’t break down the sugars as well).

Not only does the stomach have a harder time doing its job
now, but more sugar will enter your blood stream faster, and
you know that is something that can kill fat loss and even
lead to digestive problems.

Yes it sounds weird, yet it’s something you’re going to want
to do as you want to get the most out of life with delicious
smoothies!

Now, as with most food choices, you can do much better by
making your own smoothies at home, like I do…

…and with just a few items you can turn some of the
healthiest foods on the planet into some of the tastiest
experiences you’ll ever have!  I know, because I do it
almost every day…

With that in mind, here are 2 of my latest favorite
UBER-HEALTHY smoothie recipes you’ll want to try yourself:

—————-
CHOCOLATE ALMOND
1 banana
2 dates
2 cups cold coconut water (or 1 ¬Ω cups coconut water plus 1 cup
ice)
¼ cup almonds, soaked (or 2 tablespoon raw almond butter)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder

Blend everything until smooth. This is a satisfying,
antioxidant-rich smoothie that will keep the hunger away for
hours. If using dried dates, soak them first.

BANANA SPLIT
1 banana, frozen and broken into pieces
1 cup almond milk (see instructions page 19)
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder or chocolate protein powder
1 small piece of vanilla bean
¬Ω cup cherries, pitted (fresh or frozen)

Blend all of the ingredients together. Garnish with some
extra cherries, and some chopped walnuts.

So what are you waiting for?  Get blending!

I’ll be back soon with more healthy fat loss tips…until
then…

Here’s to getting lean, strong, and healthy for life,
Rob

To get your “greens” and make your smoothie even healthier try this….

Make cubes using your ice cube trays, out of blended kale, avocado and flax seed, with a bit of water, almond milk, coconut milk…whatever you would like to add for a bit of fluid. One head of kale, one whole avocado blended makes about 24 cubes. Remove them from the ice cube tray when frozen, and bag to keep fresh in the freezer. Grab one or two everytime you make a smoothie to add some healthy greens to your favourite smoothie. PS…it makes it somewhat greenish, so a coloured cup helps. There is no change to your vanilla or chocolate flavour when adding this…it’s awesome!
